18th EURAM Early Career Colloquium
Distinction and Belonging: Finding Your Voice and Building Your Place in a Changing Academy
Venue: Wolfson College, University of Cambridge
Date: 15-17 March 2027

Are you an early career academic looking to share your research and develop collaboration opportunities in a vibrant environment of peers, senior mentors, and the EURAM top management team?
The European Academy of Management Early Career Community invites Postdocs, recently appointed Lecturers or Assistant Professors in management and cognate fields of research, to the eighteenth edition of the EURAM Early Career Colloquium (EECC), March 15 to 17, 2027.
The key objective of the colloquium is to offer a platform for early career management scholars. Through collaborative sessions and expert-led coaching, participants will gain insights and connections to advance their careers.
This year’s theme is Distinction and Belonging: Finding Your Voice and Building Your Place in a Changing Academy for early career scholars.
The event is a unique opportunity to gain face-to-face feedback on your research and your career trajectory from experienced scholars who have lived it:
- Dedicated time to discussing and developing your research ideas
- One-on-one coaching session on career development from a senior academic
- Workshops and seminars dedicated to developing a successful research trajectory
- Networking activities for building international relations and exploring possibilities for future collaborations
The 18th EURAM Early Career Colloquium will be held at Wolfson College, part of the University of Cambridge, one of the oldest universities in Europe with a strong reputation in law, economics, and management.
Founded in 1965 as ‘University College’, Wolfson was initially only for postgraduate students, and was located in a single house with just a dozen rooms and a long, narrow garden that ran from Selwyn Gardens to Barton Road. From these humble beginnings, Wolfson has since grown to welcome mature undergraduates as well as postgraduates. It is now the academic and physical home to more than 800 students, with over 400 accommodation rooms, a conference centre, performance venue, library, and lovingly tended gardens spread over a ten-acre site. There is on-site catering provided by the catering team in the newly refurbished kitchen, ranging from small gatherings with refreshments through to Formal Halls and conferences, with a Buttery serving the student community and other members of the college for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and a coffee shop and bar downstairs.
All participants will have the possibility to submit a revised manuscript to a dedicated EECC track at the EURAM 2027 conference to be held from June 22 to 25, 2027, at the School of Business and Economics and the Department of Management & Organisation, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU), The Netherlands, and register at a preferential rate.
